The Sheldon is available in a full range of wood finishes, with lighter colours more suited to modern decor, while darker woods best complement more traditional surroundings. The unfettered jambs of this fireplace draw attention to the chamfered base and capital of each, and edge beading running round the inside edge of the surround. The capitals have carved shell relief roundels, with a triple parallel line frieze emblem between them. The three-tiered mantel shelf has a beaded central tier.
