Delivery of Product
Deliveries are made using reputable carriers and we will arrange delivery to any mainland UK address as designated on your order form. For security and health and safety reasons, it is required that someone is present to receive the goods in all cases. In the event of a ‘palletised’ delivery it is advised that at least two persons are present to accept delivery, as the drivers are only allowed to place the pallet at the entrance to the property. Unpacking and moving of goods is the responsibility of the customer, and the pallet is left for customers to dispose of themselves.
All deliveries require CHECKING AND a signature STATING ‘received in good condition’ as standard. Please open and inspect goods in the presence of the delivery driver, as the courier company have informed us that they will accept no responsibility for damage after the driver has left. Once goods are signed for they are deemed the responsibility of the customer, therefore checking the goods on arrival is VITAL. If it is not possible to check the goods upon arrival you must sign for the goods as 'Unchecked' allowing you to report any damage at a later time. If there is apparent damage to the packaging it is essential to check the goods before the courier leaves and if this is not possible then you must sign for as Damaged or refuse delivery altogether.
If for any reason the goods are delivered damaged, such damage must be reported by telephone and/or email within 5 to 7 days of arrival, whereupon arrangements will be made for such replacements as deemed necessary.
Upon delivery please inspect your goods and advise us If any parts/goods are incorrect or missing from the delivery, If this can be proved to have been ordered in the first instance, then these also need to be reported by telephone or email within 72 hours of arrival as stipulated by the manufacturers. We will endeavour to correct any unlikely mistakes as soon as we are informed.
In accordance with the distance selling regulations, we wish to advise you that you have a seven days cooling off period and you are entitled to return the goods within that period. If you require any further information please contact us direct. If for any reason you choose to return the ordered goods , then it is your responsibility to return these goods in the original packaging, and to cover the cost of this return. We will of course refund you in full less the original delivery costs incurred by us should you be unhappy with your purchase for any reason. For special orders, non standard products and made to measure items it is at our discretion if we accept the return & a restocking fee will be applicable.
