The Lancaster is a classic Victorian wood and marble fire surround which will suit a wide range of traditional or period interiors, thanks to its medium size and relatively simple design. It features triple parallel channel detailing on the squared jambs, with chamfered block feet and capitals with flower motif roundel. The recessed frieze has a wide rope twist swag, rounded off with a tiered mantelpiece..

Classic Yet Simple Victorian Style

The Lancaster may be a traditional Victorian fireplace crafted with decorative features, yet it is sufficiently unobtrusive to fit well with any traditional or period décor. The modest roundels and rope swag provide a counterpoint to the clean straight lines of the jambs, without detracting from the simple design.

Versatile Enough for Almost Any Interior

The dimensions of this fireplace are small to medium compared with the rest of our Victorian range. With a height of 1130 mm and a width of 1321 mm and a moderate mantel shelf (depth 178 mm), the Lancaster is the ideal fire surround for a range of room sizes. Available in a wide range of different coloured wood finishes, it will suit most interiors, too. Darker finishes (such as the Dark Mahogany pictured here) tend to better suit traditional décor, while lighter finishes such as Beech complement a more contemporary interior.
