The Freeport is one of four inset fires in the ‘Display and Demonstrate' range, designed specifically for independents. All models in the range come with an extended three year guarantee and are available at a competitive price for retailers committing to in-store displays, rather than internet sales, helping drive sales directly through the independent retailer channel. The optiflame LED flame effect is lit by using just 7 Watts per hour on the fire's near-silent flame effect only setting. Based on five hours' daily use of the flame effect only, running costs are less than £2 per annum, while the bulbs have an expected lifespan of 30 years. The Freeport gives a powerful boost of heat when required from the 2kW fan heater concealed beneath the canopy, or for economy there is a half heat 1kW setting. A highly accurate thermostat maintains a steady room temperature, avoiding the wasteful overheat and cool down cycle. The slim chassis of the Freeport requires an inset depth of only 55mm, or alternatively the fire can be fitted flat to wall using the 60mm spacer provided. Designed to fit 16" and 18" fireplaces and all conventional flues, the Freeport is supplied with both coal and white pebbles to suit any décor, or to change according to the seasons. |
